Are you interested in live in care? Available on the weekends? Do you live in the Banks area of Southport or are willing to travel to Southport? Do you like bowling, kareoke, dogs and dancing? If so we are actively recruiting for care and support workers to provide 24 hour care and support for an individual with psychosis and epilepsy. The day time hours will consist of dog walking, attending dance classes such as line dancing and going to the gym. Throughout the night care and support workers will be able to sleep however may be required at intervals for assistance with medication. Our team thrive to help support people's aspirations and assist them meet their needs, this individual would also like help to volunteer within their local community. No care experience necessary as mandatory training will be given and pay rate above National Living wage. Dementia Awareness Week this year will take place from 19th – 25th May 2025. The campaign is run by Alzheimer’s Society, with the aim of encouraging people and organizations across the UK to act on dementia, and to raise awareness of the importance of timely and accurate diagnosis. I know that I've made a difference, without carers, so many individuals wouldn't be able to maintain the independence of living at home, a lot more individuals than I had realised.

No one day is the same. It’s great to be out and about. The difference it makes to the people I support is not only good for them but it’s extremely rewarding
